FallTech Vehicle Hitch Mount Base installs to a Class 3 minimum vehicle trailer hitch with a standard 2 inch square receiver. The steel hitch bar includes a PVC mast sleeve insert and a mast-securing handscrew to help maintain proper mast positioning during use.
A horizontal foot bar with two pivoting feet and a vertical T-bar bracket provides improved stability when deployed. Two detent pins allow quick connection between the foot bar, vertical post, and hitch bar, supporting faster setup and breakdown when moving between job locations.
The system offers an adjustable height range from 11 inches to 36 inches in 3 inch increments, allowing flexibility for different vehicle heights and jobsite configurations. Construction includes lightweight powder-coated aluminum components combined with plated alloy steel parts to balance durability with easier handling.
This base meets OSHA 1926.502 and 1910.66 regulations only when used with offset davit arms and mast extensions, and should be installed and operated as part of a compatible FallTech system designed for temporary fall protection access.
