FallTech 8180D APEX Pro Fall Restrict Device for Wood Poles

FallTech 8180D APEX Pro Fall Restrict Device is engineered to deliver dependable safety, smooth performance, and ease of use for utility and distribution pole climbers working on wood poles. Designed to perform in dry, wet, and icy conditions, the device supports confident climbing and secure fall restriction in changing environments.

An articulating strap adjuster automatically conforms to varying pole shapes and diameters while maintaining proper orientation. A horizontal rope adjuster provides ergonomic handling, even when wearing gloves, and thumb-release levers on both adjusters allow simple, continuous length adjustment during use.

The proprietary compact snap hook allows fast connection using as few as two fingers. A magnetic tail keeper helps manage excess rope and reduces snags or tripping hazards around the work area. A large-diameter 15 mm Technora® rope improves grip and supports long-term durability, while a slotted bent D-ring helps prevent rope pinching and supports smoother off-hand rope management.

This device is compatible with wood poles measuring 4 in to 18 in in diameter and is designed for professional use where dependable fall-restrict performance is required.
